Sauces and Dressings

Mighty Mint Vinaigrette

Great on …..
  • Arugula + chopped pineapple + macadamia nuts + goat cheese
  • Greens + strawberries + apple +pine nuts + feta
  • Quinoa + tomatoes + black olives + basil
  • Grilled lamb chop or lamb burger + feta  
  • Salmon + capers + squeeze of lemon
  • Grated carrots + grated apple + fresh mint
  • Brown rice/quinoa + black beans + cumin + avocado + cilantro + lime
  • Avocado toast + fresh basil and/or arugula
  • 3- Bean Salad (1 can drained kidney beans + 1 can chick peas +cooked green beans + red onion)

Spicy Peanut Sauce

As much a dressing as a sauce, add to…
  • Rice noodles + grated carrots + thinly sliced cabbage + green onions + cilantro + peanuts + lime juice 
  • Grilled chicken thighs + rice + shaved cabbage + basil + peanuts
  • Grilled shrimp with rice noodles, red bell peppers, Napa cabbage
  • Zucchini noodles (raw or cooked briefly) + peanuts + grated carrots + purple cabbage
  • Asian sticky rice bowl= black rice + cucumbers (soaked in rice vinegar for 15 min) + sautéed tofu + grated jicama + mint
  • Grilled tuna + coconut rice + pickled cucumbers + scallions
  • Grilled pork loin + cilantro + mint + snow peas + rice

Creamy Cashew Lemon Herb Dressing

Vietnamese Citrus Dressing

Add to …..
  • Chicken salad (chopped roasted chicken + red onion + celery + toasted pecans + extra dill + cherry tomatoes/or sundried-tomatoes)
  • Avocado toast + smoked salmon + micro-greens
  • Chicken burger (served on bed of arugula + grated purple cabbage + red onion)
  • Tuna salad (can of tuna + grated apple + red onion + halved grapes)
  • Lentil salad (cooked and cooled lentils or favorite bean + cucumbers + tomato halves/sundried tomatoes + handful of greens)
  • Potato salad (baby potatoes cooked and cooled + celery + red onion + fresh or dried dill)
  • Seared or grilled salmon or halibut
  • Grilled Shrimp + chopped romaine lettuce + tomatoes
  • Quinoa bowl (Cooked quinoa + grated carrots + thinly sliced red/ green cabbage + green onions + fresh mint/cilantro or dill) 
Delish on...
  • Rice noodles + grated carrots + cabbage + peanuts + mint
  • Purchased sushi or veggie rice paper wraps
  • A chicken breast, halibut or salmon
  • A rice bowl (we love black rice) + steamed or raw veggies + avocado + fresh cilantro + peanuts
  • Shredded chicken + chopped mango + grape tomato’s (halved) + celery or cukes + fresh basil (think Vietnamese chicken salad)…serve in a lettuce cup
  • Avocado + grapefruit sections  + shaved romaine + cilantro
  • Arugula + grated carrots + green onions + grilled shrimp or pan seared tofu
  • A chicken/turkey burger on a bed of Napa cabbage + basil + green onion + papaya

Dips and Spreads

Chipotle Lime Dip

Slather on….
  • A cooked frozen pizza (add after it comes out of the oven), add fresh tomatoes and basil
  • A toasted open-face BLT,
  • A hamburger, chicken/or turkey burger, or garden burger
  • Avocado toast + cilantro + tomatoes
  • A Mexican-style bowl…. brown rice/cauli rice/ or quinoa + avocado, black beans + tomatoes + cilantro
  • Pasta + marinara
  • Romaine boats (Fill the hearts of a romaine and top with Cilantro and cherry tomato halves)
  • Roasted Brussels sprouts or cauliflower
  • Cooked asparagus or green beans
  •                  …..Use as a Dip for
  • Crudité (any raw veggie)
  • Corn chips, potato chips, crackers
  • Stuff an avocado, top with cilantro + tomatoes
  • Scramble eggs/hard boiled eggs/eggs Benedict instead of Hollandaise

Peppadew-Pimento Cheese

This is delish warm.  Add to….
  • Scrambled eggs + fresh tomatoes/hard boiled eggs
  • BLT’s
  • Mary’s Gone Cracker’s for appetizer/ hors d’oeuvres
  • Open-faced pimento cheese toast + fresh tomatoes
  • Baked Potatoes + cooked broccolini
  • Celery sticks as a snack
  • Burgers (melted on top)
  • Pasta + fresh cherry tomatoes + arugula
  • Chicken breast/thighs
  • Romaine boats (fill inside of romaine hearts + cilantro)
  • Quesadillas (use as cheese in the middle)

Roasted Jalapeno & Pepperoncini Dip

Try it on…..
  • Grilled Chicken breast/thighs 
  • Artichokes (may need to thin it a bit)
  • Crudité
  • Crackers
  • Baked Potato + sautéed spinach or broccoli
  • Open-faced sandwich (toasted) with cherry tomato halves + microgreens
  • Pasta with tomatoes and asparagus
  • Sautéed mushrooms
  • Romaine boats (fill inside of romaine hearts + cilantro)
  • Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms (add some cooked spinach and stuff and bake)
  • Stuff an avocado, top with cilantro + tomatoes
  • Store-Bought Pizza topper (add after cooking)

Green Olive-​Pimento Cheese

This is delish warm.  Great on...
  • Baked potatoes + sautéed spinach or broccoli
  • Any crackers (we love Mary’s Gone)
  • Grilled chicken thighs
  • Any kind of sandwich or bagel with fresh tomatoes/cucumbers (treat it like mayo)
  • Burgers
  • Crudité (think purple and orange carrots, sugar snap peas, celery)
  • Pasta + cherry tomatoes + marinated artichoke hearts
  • Romaine boats (fill inside of romaine hearts + cilantro)
  • Chicken breast/thighs
  • Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms (Add some cooked spinach and stuff and bake)
  • Quesadillas (use as cheese in the middle)
  • Hard boiled eggs/scramble eggs

Mediterranean Red Bell Pepper Sauce with Preserved Lemon and Cilantro

Great on...
  • Pasta + Kalamata olives + sundried tomatoes +parmesan
  • Grilled chicken + feta + green olives
  • Roasted lamb chops + roasted eggplant + green beans
  • Roasted Veggies (think eggplant, squash, zucchini)
  • Quinoa + white beans + arugula + cherry tomatoes + extra virgin
  • Cooked shrimp + orzo + arugula + drizzle of extra virgin
  • Eggs + goat cheese + smoked paprika
