Prep time: 10 minutes

One of our special-occasion favorites, this sparkler offers sublime sophistication with a playful touch of fruit. Serve this bubbling beauty in tall, svelte flutes from a silver platter sprinkled with pomegranate seeds and spirals of orange peel.

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750ml) Champagne or sparkling wine

orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier

Fresh pomegranite seeds, for garnish (optional)

Oranges, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Pour about 5 ounces of the Champagne into each of 4 flutes. Pour 1/2 ounce of the orange liqueur into each glass. Stir gently. Drop a sprinkling of pomegranite seeds and/or a twist of orange peel into each flute, if desired.
